Coming with a full team? The Team Ticket is designed for pre formed teams of 6 or 7 players who want to play together the whole session.

Unlike individual registrations, team tickets guarantees your team will not be split up or combined with other players. You'll stay together for every match.

MVP Sunday Socials are designed for players who want quality games, a relaxed environment and a friendly volleyball community without signing up for a full season.

How it works

How to attend?

01 Choose your ticket

Purchase a Solo Ticket for yourself or a Team Ticket for your full team.

02 Arrive on time and check in

Arrive at MSAC with enough time to check in and warm up before the games begin.

03 Follow the check in instructions
  • Provide your name or order number.
  • Receive an MVP entry stamp.
  • Write your name on the whiteboard to join a team. You can choose to play at an intermediate or advanced level.

Please note: If you want to play with a friend, you must both check in and write your names under the same team. We recommend arriving early while more team spaces are available. Unless you purchase a Team Ticket, we cannot guarantee that you will play together.

04 Attend the pre game briefing

Before the games begin, we’ll bring everyone together for a quick explanation of the format, rules and safety guidelines.

05 Start on your allocated court

Check your team number and allocated court on the whiteboard. Refer to the venue diagram to find your court.

06 Have fun

Whether you want to take it easy or compete for the King’s Court, the choice is yours. Good luck and enjoy the games!

Keeps players engaged and competitive, maintaining game quality.

Team levels naturally balance out after a few games, creating more even matchups in skill and pace.

No teams get subbed off. Stay on court the whole time!

Can I come without a team?

Yes. Choose a Solo Ticket, then allocate yourself to either an advanced or intermediate team when you check in.

Can I play with my friends?

A Team Ticket is the best option if your group must stay together. We cannot guarantee that players with Solo Tickets will be placed on the same team. You can improve your chances by arriving and checking in early together, then adding your names to the same available team.

How many players are on a team?

Teams have a maximum of seven players. When all tickets are sold, each team must have seven players unless it was booked with a Team Ticket. A Team Ticket covers seven players, but the team may choose to play with six.

Is there parking?

Parking is available directly in front of the venue. The first hour is free, followed by $6 per hour up to a maximum of $12. This car park can be busy and may reach capacity.

We also recommend Lakeside Stadium Car Park. It costs a flat rate of $6.50 and is a short walk from the venue.

Can I get there by public transport?

Yes. You can take either the 96 or 12 tram. Stops for both routes are within easy walking distance of the venue.

I can’t find the courts

We are located in Stadium 5 and use courts 1 to 6. Check in is located near courts 1 to 3. Ask the MSAC reception team for directions to Stadium 5 and they will point you to the right place.

Social tickets are non-refundable for change of mind, late arrival, non-attendance or personal scheduling conflicts, except where required by law. MVP may consider a cancellation request in extraordinary circumstances where more than 24 hours’ notice is provided.If MVP approves the request, store credit only may be provided. Cash refunds are not provided for change of mind unless required by law.
